5 Kinds Of Blog Posts That Build Your Feminine Authority

June 10, 20268 min read

*Disclaimer: You’re going to want to write blog posts after reading this so set aside some time.

We all know the power of consistent & intentional blog content - it builds SEO, it helps you rank in search engines & now AI results, it’s great for a website’s health, & it’s the perfect place for social media exhausted solopreneurs to connect with their audience.

But the reason I love blog content for women entrepreneurs isn’t about ranking, it’s about authority & trust.

With the words you write, you’re allowing your audience to see you, know you, and build a relationship deeper than the scroll on an FYP allows. Blogs are also the perfect place for your audience to get deeper into your world and really understand what it is you do & how you can support them.

So how can you write this powerhouse content and build some serious feminine authority? Let’s get into it.

What Is A Feminine Authority Blog Post?

Put simply, a feminine authority blog post is a piece of writing that does some serious work while also being deeply intentional. They give value and they also build trust, they provide answers and they also validate experiences, they create entry points into your world with integrity, transparency and your true magic.

Feminine authority is built on your intuition and the honest way you approach the work you do & the transformations you provide your clients.

When you write a blog post from that starting point, it becomes not just helpful, it becomes impactful in lots of ways.

5 Types Of Feminine Authority Blog Posts

1. The Pattern Recognition Post

A blog post really hits when it can gently but effectively call out a pattern your dream client is currently in & currently wanting to get out of.

But what really grounds these posts into your feminine authority? NOT naming and also solving the problem in one post.

The point of this kind of post is to make your audience feel seen, heard, & understood. You want them to know that you get it because you’ve been there, you’ve moved past it, and you’ve helped others do the same.

Naming the patterns - and what if feels like to be stuck in them - is like holding up a mirror and saying “Yes, this is what’s going on, and yes it sucks, but you’re not alone in it.

Then you close out with an invitation to follow you on socials, or subscribe to your email list, or simply comment with an emoji - anything but a direct pitch of your services, that comes later. These posts are deeply trust building, nothing more.

2. The Framework Post

In the blog post above, we’re reflecting, connecting, & building trust with the audience we want to reach. In the Framework Post, we’re offering some real, concrete value and use-right-now information.

But how we really tap into feminine authority with this one is to skip the generic “tips & tricks” and share the thing that you do or have done that sets you apart in the process.

Things like...

  • Specific journal prompts that bring you closer to an answer

  • Specific steps you’ve used on yourself and/or with clients to achieve an outcome

  • A perspective & approach to a specific challenge that you developed

  • A belief & mindset based on personal experience that supports a process

Your feminine authority is showcased because you are putting all of YOU into the steps, process, or directions you’re sharing.

3. The No BS Industry Critique Post

By now you’re seeing the theme - blog posts created in your feminine authority are powerful because of YOU. So in this blog post you’re really going to let all the honesty & authenticity out.

Taking a firm & clear stance on something within your industry is a simple way to establish your authority & perspective but also really find the audience that aligns with you.

The thing about these posts is that they may ruffle a few feathers or even make people say, “Yea, she’s not for me” - but that’s the point! A no BS industry critique should be a qualifier for the audience & clients you’re looking to connect with.

For example:

I don’t like the manipulation, toxic hustle, and bro-marketing tactics that are prevalent in the online marketing industry. So a no BS industry critique post might be: Why Does Marketing Feel Wrong, Even When You're Doing Everything Right?”

(Well, not “might be", is it. Read it here)

This post was my no BS take on all the ways the online marketing industry sets small business owners up for failure in their content & marketing. People may not agree with me, and that’s ok, but the people who do? Those are my people.

4. The Permission Post

Similar to the pattern recognition post, the Permission Post does a whole lot of experience validating but takes it even deeper and gives your audience the “permission” to start doing things differently.

A Permission Post can…

  • allow your audience to feel seen, heard, understood, while also feeling empowered to take a step or make a change.

  • share the feeling of relief in a tangible way.

  • make the transformation feel doable & the end goal realistic

  • help your audience feel motivated, excited, & ready to move forward.

A permission post is your love letter of encouragement & support that will land with the people who need it most & thus position you as a positive source of guidance and support.

5. The Value-Led Alternative Post

Now the most feminine authority-soaked blog post you can write takes the very best of all the others & blends them into a deep dive expose of what you do, the way you do it, and how it sets you apart.

Think of this as a super juicy post (sometimes called a pillar post) that you can easily pull apart & use to write shorter posts, create social content, or record a podcast series about.

For example, I wrote a blog post about Feminine Authority Content & Marketing that didn’t just tell my audience what this method was but why I created it & how I use it in my own business & the businesses of my clients.

These kinds of posts solidly & clearly establish your expertise, your unique approach, & the values (both intrinsic & practical) that what you do is built on.

How To Use These Posts In Your Business & Brand Building

Now before you feel content overwhelm (it’s easy to do, I get it) you do not need to write all five of these posts right away. And you also don't need a highly specific or picture perfect content strategy to make these posts work.

Just choose the type of blog post that feels easiest for you right now.

  • If there is something you keep noticing within your audience or your clients that keeps them stuck in a loop, that's a Pattern Recognition post.

  • If you've been wanting to put your actual method into words, that's a Framework post.

  • If you have a hot-take on a common part of your industry that’s been nagging at you, that’s a No BS Industry Critique Post.

  • If there’s a mindset block, a fear, or a hesitation that you see again & again in your audience & you know a gentle push would help, that’s a Permission Post.

  • If there’s an overarching topic that incorporates a bit of each of the posts above, spend some time organizing your thoughts & writing that Value-Led Alternative Post.

Start where your energy is strongest & write.

A few tips for the first post you write:

  • Think about what your audience might need after reading that first post. Is it a Permission Post that could use some tactical follow up? (Framework Post)

  • Give your readers a clear next step (CTA) at the end of your first post.

    • Should they head to your socials?

    • Is there a freebie they can download to get to know your work better?

    • Should they get on your email list so they don’t miss upcoming posts?

  • Write with humans in mind (gotta say it in this AI age). Write like you’re in conversation with a specific person, write like you’re teaching someone in a webinar, write like you’re sending an email to a friend. The more human you can be in your blog posts, the better.

Here's what becomes possible when your blog posts actually sound like you and are created from your feminine authority:

  • Readers find it & want to get deeper into your world.

  • Readers find it & want to share it with a friend who needs it.

  • Readers come back months later when they're finally ready to hire someone.

And that happens not because you were super consistent with posting times, or you “convinced” them of your expertise, or you managed to “harness” an algorithm. Those kinds of things happen because what you wrote was real, and clear, and something they needed - and with your added feminine authority, it provided the most authentic version of you and your business.

Your blog can be one of the most quietly powerful assets in your business because it's building trust with the right people, steadily and without you having to fight the algorithm or keep pace on the social media production line.

If this feels like a Hell, yea! kind of content focus, but you’re not quite sure where to start, we can do it together! A 1:1 Content Consult can get all the parts of your content marketing strategy & next steps laid out & ready for you.

No matter how you plan to use your blog posts to build your feminine authority (and business!) go get writing. Your brilliance, perspective, and authority need to be shared!
