Feminine Authority Content & Marketing: What, How & Who It's For

April 10, 20267 min read

We are not reinventing the content & marketing wheel, we’re simply choosing a more comfortable ride.

Three years ago I was booked & busy (as they say) with 1:1 marketing consults. I was working with small business owning women to create strategy and content to promote their services, offers & brand. I was teaching, guiding, problem solving…I was doing the job they had hired me to do.

But I was also growing so damn uncomfortable with it.

I’m a woman raised by a society that told us if we do it this way, we win. (Can I get a ‘hell yes’ from my fellow Millennials?) And so I was doing it the way I was supposed to:

  • Following & teaching accepted online marketing strategy

  • Regurgitating content tips & algorithm tricks

  • Repeating wack ass wisdom that I didn’t really believe in.

And while it was working for my clients, I found myself dreading the work that had once lit me up. It made my skin crawl, set my justice sensitivity alarms off, & put me in canary-in-a-coal-mine mode.

So I stopped. I took stock, got deeper into my healing, accepted my own divine feminine self and realized, I don’t have to quit doing the work I loved, I just had to start doing it my way.

This was the birth of Feminine Authority Content & Marketing.

What Is Feminine Authority Content & Marketing?

Put most simply, Feminine Authority is a guiding philosophy & a set of standards for small business marketing that is rooted in value, trust, integrity and your own empowerment.

It is business marketing done through the lens of feminine power, intuition, and communal benefit.

And most importantly, it’s a departure from the patriarchy driven sales & marketing that’s led the online business space over the last 20 years.

Here’s a basic 'this & that'…

The Four Parts of Feminine Authority

The framework that makes up Fem. Authority is simple for a reason - small business marketing has been overcomplicated in a way that makes my blood boil.

Marketing is showcasing what you do, how you do it, & who you do it for in a way that speaks directly to those people.

And humans will always be human which means connection will always be key.

Here’s the framework breakdown:

Value-Led Visibility

Your content reflects who you are and what you stand for, not what the algorithm is rewarding this week.

Your visibility plan is grounded in your values and your true voice. It focuses on the spaces & platforms that meet your audience where they are AND are sustainable for you.

This means your content has a consistent point of view, a consistent voice & tone, and a consistent rhythm in the same places. And this is all so consistent that your audience can recognize you, build a connection and establish trust no matter where they find you.

This workshop will teach you more:
Value Led Visibility - Attract, Align & Connect With YOUR Audience

Intentional Content

Every piece of content you create has a job: to connect, to teach, or to invite.

You are not producing content simply to fill space and stroke the algorithm. We use The 333 Method as part of content planning and make sure each piece of content is created with purpose.

This makes content creation so much simpler, straightforward and you can finally step away from the wall & put down the spaghetti.

Trust-Based Authority

Authority that builds trust with your audience is something you build through consistency of voice, clarity of values, and showing up the same way every time.

Because your audience knows what you stand for, who you are, and what you do for before they ever consider working with you, their decision to buy from you is a comfortable one.

Aligned Invitation

When your content has done its job, selling stops feeling like pressure and coercion and becomes a natural next step.

An aligned invitation is extended to people who already know you, trust you, and are truly ready to say yes - without scarcity, fear, or manipulation. You sell with intention and integrity, your audience buys with trust and confidence.

What Would Feminine Authority Look Like In Your Business?

And for the lady…perhaps a healthy helping of grounded confidence alongside a dollop of tenacity and a generous sprinkle of sustainable strategy?

Here are a few examples of how you could be using this framework in your own marketing & content…

When you go blank on content
We have truly all been there - you sit down to create and your mind empties out completely.

The Feminine Authority fix starts way before blank-out even happens. Before you even start a draft, you know what you need your content to do, you know it’s job.

That clarity is what makes content creation simpler - you’re not searching for something to say, you’re speaking to a specific person, about a specific thing, and you know exactly what you need to say based on what you’re trying to do.

When you're scared to say the thing
So you know your hot/cool/lukewarm take on something, but you’re most likely going to vanilla it down to make it palatable, mass acceptable, safe.

Feminine Authority asks you to say the thing clearly, and trust that the women who need to hear it will find it. The ones who don't? They were never yours to begin with.

When you're writing a sales page
The traditional approach hands you a formula:
problem, agitate, solve, close.

Feminine Authority offers you a different directive: write to the woman who is already halfway there. Tell her what this is, who it's for, and what becomes possible when she says yes.

Your selling stops being a pitch and simply becomes a welcomed & aligned next step for the woman who is ready.

When you're tempted to chase the algorithm
We’ve been well trained to try and please the algorithm above all else. And that can look like a constant churning of content simply to meet a metric…and eventually burn you the hell out.

Feminine Authority asks you to notice and then pull back on that impulse. The traction that’s built on algorithm-chasing evaporates the moment the rules change and the platform makes a decision for you.

Brand trust is built on consistent, values-led content and that builds over time.

The latter is Fem Authority strategy. The other is a hamster wheel with better graphics.

Who Is Feminine Authority Content & Marketing For?

It’s for the woman who is already showing up, doing the work, but also hoping that there's a different way.

She is not looking for permission to work less or post less - she knows that she is ready for that - but she is looking for a framework that actually fits the way she thinks, leads, and builds.

She has tried the traditional playbook and even if it had been working, something about it has always felt slightly off.

Feminine Authority is for the woman entrepreneur who is ready to stop retrofitting herself into a marketing model that wasn't designed for her in the first place. Who knows it’s time to take the patriarchy out of her business and start marketing, promoting, selling and showing up solidly rooted in her own feminine knowing.
