Panda Planner
I am a list maker. My life functions just a bit smoother when I can put whatever is rolling around in my brain down on paper. Whether it’s to-do lists, personal development stuff, blog ideas, hopes and dreams, the Panda Planner takes it to the next level.
An undated and structured planner, Panda Planner allows you to organize your month, week, day and tasks all while also incorporating opportunities for self reflection and a focus on happiness and well being. All things I can totally get behind.
Marco Polo
I have hit full obsession level with this app. Marco Polo is a face-to-face messaging app for one-to-one and group conversations and it’s basic set up and usability is the genius of it. Imagine a video walkie-talkie, send video messages with no time restrictions and go back to review the convo at your leisure.
My mom friend group Polo is epic and wildly entertaining. That’s all you need to know.
Dual Jade Roller
I’m a big believer that the oldest wisdom is usually some of the best and this goes for beauty and skin care as well. In my attempts to appear less haggard (a common Mom problem) I’ve started looking into at home care and treatment to help de-puff and firm up the skin on my face and neck. Enter the dual jade roller, a centuries old Chinese beauty tool that helps to detoxify, reduce inflammation, soothe irritated skin, de-puff under eye bags and stimulate blood flow and circulation.
It’s been about 2 weeks of daily rolling, usually about 5 minutes in the morning and a bit longer in the evenings after cleansing, and I’m convinced of its powers!
Lilac Girls: A Novel by Martha Hall Kelly
This book was not only incredibly emotional and beautifully written but timely and relevant for today. I devoured it all while wishing it wouldn’t end.
Inspired by the life of real World War II heroine, Lilac Girls follows the 3 very different lives of 3 incredible women during the Nazi occupation. This is an amazing piece of historical writing with gripping story lines. I just loved it.
Peloton
Ok. You guys. This one is big. Real big. HUGE. This will sit at the top of my faves list for years and years. And for good reason.
Back in the day I was a regular at spin class and completely loved it. These days it’s just plain hard to get to a studio class. When the Peloton spin bike was introduced I was immediately intrigued. Friends of our purchased one a few months ago and after doing a ride on theirs, I was hooked.
When my foot gave out, thanks to tendinitis, and my regular cardio routine (lots of running) was off the table, my wonderful husband decided to surprise me with my very own bike. It has been a total game changer. Not only is this machine hard core and capable of some of the best workouts I’ve ever done, I have the convenience of getting that kind of workout while kids nap or while they watch a movie or while they hang out with their dad upstairs. No leaving the house, no finding child care, I don’t even have to wear a shirt!!
The classes and instructors are literally the best in the business and with on demand classes as well as a Live schedule (you’re a part of a live class happening in Peloton’s New York studio) there’s never NOT a time when you can find the perfect ride for you.
Bonus? My husband is just as in love as I am 🙂
This was an absolute investment in our health and well being. The epitome of money well spent.

Oooooh it’s been a good week! Look for a 5 Faves post every Tuesday!
